Corporate Solicitor (Senior Associate)

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a leading Northern Ireland law firm based in Belfast as a Senior Associate, with a clear pathway to Partnership.

The firm provides expert legal services to individuals and businesses across a broad range of matters. Our Corporate team specialises in joint ventures, shareholder agreements, management buyouts, and acquisitions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing corporate transactions, delivering strategic advice, and driving the department's growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-value corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and management buyouts, ensuring alignment with clients' commercial objectives.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to a diverse client base, including private companies, partnerships, and private clients, across a wide range of corporate matters.
  • Collaborate with other specialists within the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions on complex transactions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Support and mentor junior solicitors, sharing expertise and promoting professional development within the team.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal standards and internal policies, effectively managing potential risks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified as a Solicitor in Northern Ireland.
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law.
  • Strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a client-focused approach.
  • In-depth understanding of corporate law and market practices in Northern Ireland.
