This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Corporate Finance Manager or Senior Manager to join our Belfast team and play a pivotal role in our continued success.

The Role:


As a Corporate Finance Manager/Senior Manager, you will take a leadership role in managing a variety of corporate finance projects. The focus will primarily be on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), complemented by some due diligence work and strategic advisory. You will work closely with clients across a wide range of industries, helping them achieve their business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management:
    • Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions, from initial client discussions to completion.
    • Develop and execute transaction strategies, including preparation of information memoranda, valuations, and financial models.
  • Due Diligence:
    • Oversee and contribute to financial due diligence assignments, ensuring thorough and insightful analysis to support client decision-making.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
    • Provide strategic advice to clients on business valuations, capital raising, and deal structuring.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the wider UK Corporate Finance team to leverage expertise and resources.
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their professional development and project contributions.
  • Market Insight and Development:
    • Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities.
    • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and networking to enhance the firm's reputation and win new work.

What you wil have:

  • Qualifications:
    • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (essential).
    • CFQ or experience in Corporate Finance (desirable).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in M&A, corporate finance, or transaction services within a professional practice or relevant industry.
    • Demonstrable expertise in managing complex projects, including financial modelling, valuations, and due diligence.
  • Skills and Attributes:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage client relationships and lead teams effectively.
    • Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver results.
