Position Details

Environment: M&E / Contractual
Type: Permanent
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Work from home on Fridays)
Location: Glengormley/Newtownabbey

Salary

Job Purpose

  • Lead and inspire operational and sales teams by setting clear objectives and targets, monitoring progress, and supporting them in achieving their goals.

  • Optimize efficiencies and operations to meet key performance and budget expectations.

  • Drive the ongoing development of the business by creating recruitment and attraction strategies aligned with business needs.

  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships to support client project delivery.

  • Create and present client presentations, bids, RFIs, and proposals.

  • Prepare and implement plans for new projects in line with company objectives.

  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure business objectives are met.

  • Act as a senior point of contact for clients, playing a key role in retaining and growing business.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external contractual requirements, identifying gaps and risks, and implementing measures to address them.

  • Manage operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure resources meet business objectives within financial parameters.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience: 5-7 years at management level within a manpower or contracting environment.

  • Skills: Excellent people management, driving accountability, and delivering results through people.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Demonstrable experience in managing customer relationships.

  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to solve problems and make decisions with a continual improvement mindset, driving efficiency, savings, and growth.

  • Financial Acumen: Good financial and business sense with budget management experience.

  • Commercial Negotiation: Strong skills in contract negotiations.

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Attributes: Confidence, resilience, results-oriented, and target-driven.

  • Initiative: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Organisational Skills: Good organisational and administrative skills, capable of handling multiple priorities.

  • Compliance: Experience in implementing compliance measures aligned with industry regulations and standards.
