Job Description

Position: CMM Programmer/Operator (PC-Dmis/Hexagon)
Salary: £17.50 per hour / Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)
Location: Lisburn
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:45 PM (40 hours per week)

Equipped with advanced machinery-most less than six years old-the company supports a skilled team of 15 dedicated professionals. They are looking to grow there team due to the investment of more machines for the business!

The Role


As a CMM Programmer/Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality and compliance with client specifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming & Operating: Utilize PC-Dmis software to program and operate Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
  • Precision Inspection: Conduct detailed inspections of components to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Technical Collaboration: Work alongside engineers and production teams to maintain the highest standards of quality.
  • Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models, applying GD&T principles.

  • Experience: Proven expertise in CMM programming and operation, preferably using PC-Dmis software.
  • Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of GD&T and the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision-focused with a commitment to upholding quality standards.
  • Industry Experience: Background in precision engineering or a similar technical field.

Working Hours
