Role Overview
Title: Training Officer (Chassis Specialist)
Location: Magherafelt
Salary: 30-35k
VANRATH are partnering with our client based in County Derry on the hunt for an individual who has extensive Chassis experience to join their established Training function.
You will be mainly based on the production floor with a small amount of time spent in the office updating training records.

The Role Will Include:
- Reporting to the Training Manager regarding all training aspects.
- On the floor training with all new employees
- Maintaining training records and monitoring training compliance
- Upskilling existing operators within the chassis shop to ensure continual development within the workforce
- Assisting the training manager with the creation, upkeep and distribution of work instructions/ single point lessons, ensuring all information is applicable
- Assisting in health & safety validation and sign offs when required
- Daily feedback provided to the department supervisor and cell leaders regarding operator progress
- Additional ad hoc up skilling duties as and when required
Essential Criteria:
- Able to demonstrate a good understanding of Chassis Shop.
- Understanding of Spec sheets and Chassis drawings
- Effective communicator and problem solver
- No previous L&D or trainer experience required
