Calibration Technician
Location: Bangor, County Down

Are you a detail-oriented Calibration Technician looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading distribution company in County Down, is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full calibration process, including booking, testing, reviewing results, and invoicing customers.

  • Maintain accurate calibration records throughout the process.

  • Identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers.

  • Monitor stock levels, order necessary parts, and prepare stock items as required.

  • Coordinate with third-party couriers for special deliveries when needed.

  • Assist in refining and improving inspection and calibration procedures.

  • Work effectively within deadlines and budget constraints.

  • Support trade counter and warehouse operations as needed.

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong communication and telephone skills.

  • Confident and proactive in handling challenging situations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Capable of managing workload effectively under pressure and adapting to changing priorities.

  • GCSE or equivalent qualification in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Desirable Skills:

  • Interest in electronics.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry.
