Location: Ballymena
Role: Permanent, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct buying, with an emphasis on initiative and proactive decision-making.
  • Establish strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure alignment with the company's buying strategy.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to build positive working relationships.
  • Raise purchase orders within the company's accounting system, in accordance with the company's IMS.
  • Process purchase orders while ensuring that T&Cs and contract conditions are met.
  • Manage delivery dockets and advise notes, ensuring the correct items match the purchase orders.
  • Address supplier discrepancies and resolve any queries between the site, suppliers, and accounts teams.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
