Our client is a leading fit-out and civil engineering contractor delivering on projects across Northern Ireland.
They have a great opportunity for a Buyer to join them on a permanent basis, working in their head office in County Down

Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, negotiating and procuring appropriate materials
- Cost efficiency
- Following schedules
- Delivering on project budgets
- Delivering quality standards
The Ideal Person:
- Experience in a similar procurement role in the construction industry
- Quantity Surveying background
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, supply chain management and purchasing processes
- Experience of the tender process
- An aptitude for figures and the ability to manage a budget
- An analytic mind and problem-solving skills
- A full driving licence
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools
