Are you looking for a Bricklayer role? Interested in working for a leading Construction Company?

VANRATH are recruiting a Bricklayer to work within the Building Maintenance department for a large, leading Construction Company in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Remuneration:
£27,570 + van / fuel / package

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret construction plans and specifications to determine layout and materials require
• Measure and cut bricks, blocks, or other materials to size using hand or power tools
• Lay bricks or blocks in courses, ensuring alignment and levelness
• Apply mortar between bricks or blocks and remove excess mortar to achieve a neat finish
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or blocks as needed
• Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment

The Ideal Person:

• Relevant trade qualification - NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Bricklayer
• Valid CSCS/CSR card
• Relevant on-site experience in similar role
• Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to demonstrate good teamwork values
• Full, valid, clean driving license
• Experience working on Response Maintenance contracts is desirable
• Tetra training
