Biomedical Scientist - Band 6

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in an Acute based setting with a modern and bright work area/lab. This role will run initially for 12 months (with possibility of extension/permanent). You will need to be an experienced Biomedical Scientist ideally with a specialism and who has a demonstrable track record.

This is an immediate requirement, however for the right candidate they will wait for a notice period. There is real scope to use this as a way into an HSCNI organisation that creates real potential to become a permanent member of staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Practical laboratory experience, specifically in routine Haematology and Biochemistry, is essential

  • Minimum 2-3 years post graduate experience

  • Relevant Recognised Degree

  • Must have right to work in UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

  • HCPC registration proof required

  • Recent demonstrable experience within the last 3 years in a Metabolic Lab (MetBioNet lab) at Band 6

Salary:

£35,392 - £42,618 (+ Enhanced annual leave, pension and staff benefits)
