Job Description

Vanrath are assisting a long-term and award-winning client in recruiting for a Bid Writer position. The successful candidate will to work for a leading company that is at the forefront of Property, Construction, Facilities Management, Manufacturing and Renewable Energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to PQQs and ITTs
  • Prepare and execute proposals, aligning with company standards
  • Draw client needs through reviewing tender documents
  • Coordinate between internal teams to gather any information needed for bid submission
  • Work with the business development and commercial teams to align bids
  • Add to and maintain the bid database
  • Add to bid library to assist with future bids
  • Supporting marketing and business development campaigns
  • Research new and existing markets and services for new business
  • Provide content for capability statements, presentations, website and marketing purposes
  • Post-bid reviews and outcome analysis

The Ideal Person:

  • Experience writing or assisting in writing bids
  • Educated to degree level (ideal not essential) in Construction/Marketing/Law or similar
  • Proficient in MS Office programmes
  • Adobe InDesign experience
