About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming and control systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical schematics and control software for machinery, including systems that manage both hydraulic and electrical functions in a high-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electrical schematics for automated machinery and control systems.
• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs for machines that control hydraulic and electrical operations.
• Create and optimise control system software to enhance machine performance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams for seamless machine operation.
• Implement and refine control systems to boost manufacturing efficiency.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system upgrades on electrical and control systems.
• Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with PLC programming in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of both electrical and hydraulic control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
