What you'll do

  • Manage Accounts Payable
  • Process supplier invoices and manage monthly payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Process interdepartmental invoices and allocate costs to relevant cost centres
  • Analyse and prepare employee expenses
  • Compile monthly KPIs to aid decision-making
  • Prepare and post month-end journals, including accruals and prepayments
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Ensure deadlines are met for month-end processes
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Conduct stock reconciliations and support stock control/reporting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the accounts team as required

About you

  • Part-qualified or studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills
