Appointment Setting Specialist - Sales

VANRATH are excited to be assisting our client, a global organisation, in recruiting an Appointment Setting Specialist on an initial temporary contract.

Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 per annum.

The Appointment Setting Specialist will be responsible for setting appointments for the sales team by identifying potential clients, reaching them by email, and scheduling an appointment for a sales representative for a follow-up visit, either in person or via telephone. If you enjoy interacting with people and are interested in sales within different business sectors, this is the ideal position for you. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication and organisational skills who is comfortable working remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that every potential customer and client has a positive experience with our company and, therefore, the products and services we sell.
  • Take the initiative to learn about the company and grow within the role.
  • Prioritise which appointments take priority over others to maximise revenue.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and responses and convert 50% or more into appointments.
  • Develop and distribute reports of each day's appointments.
  • Use Microsoft Office suite to manage various aspects of the job.
  • Demonstrate a pleasant disposition with each prospect.
  • Properly explain the products and services to prospective customers when making appointments.
  • Complete required call sheets at the end of each day.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to work independently and remotely using MOS (Management Operating System)
  • A positive can-do attitude.
  • A pleasant way to interact with clients and prospects via email.
  • Experience of working in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
