What you'll do

As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for:

  • Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
  • Update the cashbook daily and perform bank reconciliations
  • Prepare bank lodgements and direct debit files
  • Issue invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer balances
  • Resolve discrepancies and reconcile customer accounts
  • Maintain records of all payment and credit communications
  • Set up new customers and maintain the customer master file
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures
  • Provide flexible support with other duties as required

About you

If you have previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant, and possess:

  • Strong accounts administration experience
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • A strong team-working ability
