Job Description

VANRATH are searching for an Accounts Administrator to join a growing finance team for a 12 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to build or advance their career in finance within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

This is a Fixed term Contract for 12 months. A perfect opportunity for an entry level role into Accountancy and Finance.

What you'll do

  • Process supplier invoices and match them to purchase orders
  • Prepare and manage supplier payment runs
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and filing systems
  • Assist with month-end tasks, including ledger reconciliations
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative duties to support the finance team

About You:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or finance administration role is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Previous customer service skills
  • Experience with finance software is an advantage but not essential
