VANRATH have exclusively partnered with a well-known and long established company that is a leader in their field. The organisation is recruiting for a Account Manager position.

Operating from an office in Omagh, Co Tyrone, the company offers IT managed services, cyber security and cloud solutions helping protect, support and mitigate risk for businesses.

Currently we partner with some of the biggest names in technology and have a client portfolio from diverse business sectors across GB & ROI.

Working closely with the Sales Director, the Account Manager is a crucial role within the business that will make a significant contribution to the growth of accounts while maintaining excellent service levels. The postholder will be experienced in delivering top class service while developing new sales opportunities within existing accounts.

Hours

Monday - Friday

9am - 5pm (Early finish Friday)

Salary
£25,000 - £30,000 plus a fantastic benefits package and BONUS (OTE of £40,000 £50,000)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Be the point of contact for a group of owned accounts.
  • Provide responsive and unrivalled service to clients as well as upselling and cross-selling.
  • Provide feedback to the business on any customer issues or concerns related to our products and services.
  • Liaise with other business functions such as technical and administration to ensure a seamless customer service.
  • Provide quotations, relevant information and data to potential customers as well as presentations, demonstrations and events.
  • Meet and report on productivity and performance KPIs in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with suppliers and key individuals within the industry.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and strive for overperformance.
  • Pass on any potential new business opportunities to the BD team.
  • Keep abreast of developments regarding IT services / cyber security.
  • Participate in relevant sales and marketing events to promote the business.
  • Manage all communications solely through the existing CRM system.

Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience within an account manager or customer success role, with a successful track record in upselling and KPI target delivery.
  • Proven experience of nurturing existing customer accounts whilst achieving and exceeding sales, revenue and profitability targets.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus.
  • Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Excellent planning, multi-tasking and organisational skills.
  • People person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to network and build strong working relationships with senior level staff.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be self sufficient.
  • Highly competent in MS Office to include excel, word and PowerPoint
  • Due to the high level of complexity being technically minded and proficient is essential.
  • Ability to pass an Access NI check
