Our client is a renowned dairy company and is seeking to add an Account Executive to their growing team. Customer service and maintaining relationships are very important to us. We are looking for a dedicated and personable marketing and account executive to maintain customer accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service.

In addition, the executive will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. They will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals, boost the visibility of our online presence and cultivate improved customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Negotiate deals and close agreements within agreed pricing parameters
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives internally and externally
  • Develop new business with existing clients, including upselling and cross selling
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Developing social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Creating captivating content for an organisation's social media sites, which may include writing blogs, articles, posts and multimedia content
  • Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
  • Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven work experience as an Account Executive, Sales Account Manager or relevant role, in conjunction with experience in working with various social media platforms
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence people at all levels of an organisation
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or other relevant field (not essential)
