Return to ICC for CIPD Northern Ireland Conference

Bookings have just opened for the 2022 CIPD Northern Ireland Conference, which returns to the ICC Belfast on Thursday 12 May 2022.

Themed ‘People-driven workforce transformation’, the conference will focus on the role that people professionals in Northern Ireland can play in creating more purposeful, inclusive, and productive working cultures and environments

International thought-leader in the world of work, CIPD Chief Executive, Peter Cheese will focus on how the people profession can use its position to shape a fairer, more human-centric, post-Covid world of work, with an increased focus on compassion, values, fairness and wellbeing.

Other speakers will share insights on how to transform organisations through building a culture of trust, developing future skills, building more inclusive workplaces, and prioritising health and wellbeing, employment and skills, and diversity and inclusion.

Speakers will include The Forward Institute’s Professor Veronica Hope Hailey, Gordon Parkes from Northern Ireland Electricity Networks, Young Enterprise Northern Ireland Chief Executive Carol Fitzimons, Bridgeen Mullen from FinTru, Jim Norris from Allstate Northern Ireland and Jane McDonald from Babcock International, as well as a range of the CIPD’s own experts, with other speakers still to be confirmed

Susan Hayman, Members, Networks and Communities Manager for the CIPD in Scotland and Northern Ireland said: “After having to move last year’s conference online, we are absolutely delighted that we’re able to plan for this year’s event to take place in Belfast.
