VANRATH are partnered with a manufacturing business in Greater Belfast who are currently recruiting a Finance Director to head up their Belfast site. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business who are leading players within their sector. The Finance Director will head up the Belfast office and will have responsibility for all financial and management reporting structures, including preparation of annual budgets, preparing monthly/quarterly accounts and management of a stable finance team. Reporting to the Head of Group Finance, the Finance Director will become an important member of the senior leadership team, ensuring the Belfast site is working at maximum capacity.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to have previously been in a senior leadership role, ideally with a background in manufacturing.

About you

• Qualified Accountant with 5+ years experience in senior leadership role
• Management experience
• Excellent communication skills, an ability to influence and negotiate
• High level reporting skills, ideally with previous experience in a group setting
• Available at shot notice

What you'll do

• Lead the finance team throughout month end close out process
• Implement improvements with internal controls and processes
• Lead transactional processes, ensuring deliverables are met
• Preparation of annual budget and cash flow forecasting
• Oversee financial projects
• Management of finance team
