VANRATH are working exclusively with a growing Financial Services business in Greater Belfast who following a re branding, have went from strength to strength. Due to their levels of growth, this is a newly created role for a Finance Manager to come into the team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the finance team, ensuring daily & weekly objectives are met, along with having responsibility for the production of monthly and annual accounts.
Due to this being a new role, the initial contract is set for a period of 6-9 months, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. The list of duties is not expected to be exhaustive but will be fluid as the role develops.
About you
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong IT skills, including Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational and supervisory experience
- Hands-on manager
What you'll do
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Assist with the production of annual financial accounts
- Prepare balance sheet recs, budgets/forecasts
- Variance analysis, providing insight to management team
- Project accounting, budget monitoring
- Recruitment of finance team
- Process setting and review
